Children Without Worms is the recipient of a grant from the Izumi Foundation to support the following activities in Zambia:
- Training teachers and community health workers to distribute mebendazole
- Development and distribution of information, education, and communication materials
- Implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities.
Funds from the grant will also be used to support Zambia's 5-year Plan of Action to combat neglected tropical diseases.
