Children Without Worms (CWW) works with Ministries of Health and Education and non-governmental organizations in multiple countries around the world to administer mebendazole donated by Johnson & Johnson and albendazole donated by GlaxoSmithKline and to promote the WASHED Framework. Bangladesh
Recipient government agency: Filariasis Elimination and STH Control Program, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
STH prevalence: A baseline survey, carried out in 2005 in collaboration with WHO, revealed that 79.8% of school-age children (SAC) were infected with STH

Cambodia
Recipient government agency: National Center for Parasitology, Entomology, and Malaria Control, Ministry of Health
STH prevalence: Parasitological surveys conducted in 2000-2002 revealed STH prevalence rates ranging from 9.6% to 81%

Number of SAC targeted in 2010: 2.75 million (100% of at-risk SAC population)
Cameroon
Recipient government agency: National Program for Control of Schistosomiasis and Intestinal Helminthiasis, Ministry of Public Health
STH prevalence: Baseline surveys between 1985 and 1987 indicated overall prevalence of Ascaris, Trichuris and hookworm in Cameroon's school-age children was 42.6%, 53.4% and 14.7%, respectively

Cape Verde

STH prevalence: A 2005 parasitological survey by WFP, WHO, and ICASE revealed a prevalence rate of 49% among school-age children

Lao PDR
Recipient government agency: The Task Force for School Health, The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health
STH prevalence: Parasitological surveys carried out between 2000 and 2002 revealed a prevalence rate ranging from 27% to 96%

Nicaragua
Recipient government agency: National Immunization Program, Ministry of Health
STH prevalence: Baseline surveys carried out in 2005 in 5 districts revealed an overall prevalence rate of 49%

Uganda
Recipient government agency: School Health Division, Ministry of Health
STH prevalence: Baseline surveys conducted in 46 of Uganda's 56 districts between 1998 and 2005 indicated prevalence of Ascaris, Trichuris, and hookworm was 6.3%, 5.0% and 43.5%, respectively

Zambia
